The
Purpose of This Role

This role is of a

Lead - Software
Engineer, for Finance
Procurement & Accounting IT Technology (FPAIT) with in Corporate Technology
Group (CTG) India.

At a high level, the role
involves

Partnering with business system

analysts and business analysts to understand business objectives and

providing technical vision and leadership to build a Management

Analytical Platform / Data Lake using Hadoop/ AWS/ Data

streaming technologies.

Modernizing the Finance

applications in managerial finance

to align with Enterprise goal of moving towards cloud- based solutions.

Defining and maintaining the

overall technical strategy for the team by means of innovative solutions,

while also mentoring other junior engineers towards the goal.

The

You will be partnering with business
system/ business analysts and architects to understand business objectives and
apply deep understanding of data and requirements to design solutions.

You will lead a team of engineers,
on project delivery.

You will be designing scalable
technical solutions, which meets business requirements and architecture
roadmap.

You will be building consensus
across multiple stakeholders within the organization & provide
implementation plans.

You
will be presenting the findings and outcome to Senior Leadership teams and
provide insights from the data to the business.

You will be helping business teams optimize
their current tasks and increase their productivity.

You

by learning new technologies.

Technical
/ Behavioral

You should be strong in Database and Data
Warehousing concepts.

You must
have experience with Hadoop ecosystem and toolset HDFS, MapReduce, Spark,
Hive, Hbase and Python

You must
have experience with developing data intensive applications and data processing
using tools like Sqoop, NiFi, PySpark etc.

You should
have good understanding/ exposure of Cloud Computing (AWS/ Azure) and DevOps.

You must
have expertise in writing SQL/ PLSQL on Oracle or Netezza, Shell Scripting and
Control M

You must
have expertise in application design and development, data integration and data
movement design on a distributed platform.

You should
have proven the ability to pick up new skills

You should have expertise in ALM
Tool Stack and CI/ CD patterns using tools like Jenkins, JIRA, and Git.

You
should have skills in impact- analysis and root cause analysis.

The
Skills that are Good To Have for this role

Experience in performance tuning and
optimization techniques on SQL (Oracle and Netezza) and Informatica Power
Center.

Good understanding of data management
principles: data modeling, data movement, and data access.

Knowledge of and experience in supporting
Batch Applications.

Knowledge on AGILE practices is a plus

The
Expertise We re Looking For

7 years
of IT experience

Bachelor s degree in computer science or
Information Technology or MCA

Certification in Cloud, Big data are a plus

Education:

UG:   B.Tech/B.E.

PG:  Post Graduation Not Required
