Job Overview
Reliance Industries Limited is seeking a Junior Civil Engineer for a full-time position at our Vadodara location. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in civil engineering. The position entails a focus on project coordination, technical drawing, and ensuring construction safety in a dynamic and innovative work environment.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 1 year experience in civil engineering with active involvement in construction projects.
- Proficiency in project coordination to ensure timelines and quality objectives are achieved. (Mandatory skill)
- Ability to create and interpret technical drawings to guide construction teams. (Mandatory skill)
- Strong understanding of construction safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment. (Mandatory skill)
- Skilled in site inspections to verify alignment with design specifications and standards.
- Experience in the chemical industry is advantageous for understanding material safety and compliance. Must have experience in chemical industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for drafting detailed and accurate technical plans.
- Experience handling projects from inception through completion, ensuring quality and budget adherence.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure project requirements are met and quality standards are maintained.
- Collaborate with project managers and other engineers in planning and executing construction projects efficiently.
- Develop and review technical drawings and plans utilizing AutoCAD and other engineering tools.
- Implement and supervise construction safety measures to safeguard the workforce and project integrity.
- Liaise with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies, to facilitate project progress.
- Assist in preparing project reports and documentation for management review and client updates.
- Engage in problem-solving and troubleshooting to address engineering challenges and mitigate potential risks.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, legal requirements, and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.
