Principal Software Engineer (Blue Yonder) @ Capgemini

Seeking a technically proficient Blue Yonder Technical Analyst Developer with strong experience in supply chain management systems, UNIX/Linux scripting, and infrastructure operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting and enhancing Blue Yonder (formerly JDA) solutions, developing custom scripts, and ensuring seamless integration with enterprise IT systems.

• Support, configure, and enhance Blue Yonder supply chain management software.
• Develop and maintain scripts using C, Perl, KornShell, and C Shell for automation and system tasks.
• Perform data querying and reporting using SQL across relational databases.
• Collaborate with IT operations and infrastructure teams to ensure system stability and performance.
• Manage and troubleshoot UNIX/Linux and Windows-based environments.
• Participate in software development, system integration, and server administration activities.
• Ensure compliance with IT standards for configuration management, security, and system administration.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 58 years of experience in IT operations, software development, or supply chain systems.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Blue Yonder (JDA) WMS or TMS
  • UNIX/Linux scripting (KornShell, C Shell, Perl)
  • SQL, Java, and C programming
  • Infrastructure administration and server configuration
• Strong understanding of multi-paradigm programming, system interfaces, and enterprise IT environments.

• Experience in supply chain, logistics, or retail technology domains.
• Familiarity with office automation, personal computing, and cross-platform scripting.
• Exposure to cloud-based infrastructure or virtualized environments.
