About This Team : The FOS engineering team builds and maintains the products under the TIBCO Fulfillment Orchestration Suite (TIBCO FOS). FOS helps Communications Service Providers (CSPs) and Media/Entertainment companies streamline their concept-to-cash cycle by automating the end-to-end fulfillment process from offer design to order delivery.

Job Summary
As a Associate QA Engineer, you will be responsible for
You will contribute to ensuring product quality and reliability through detailed testing and validation activities.
Working closely with senior QA engineers and developers, you will write and execute test cases, identify bugs, and verify product functionality across new and existing features.

Key Responsibilities
Perform functional, integration, and regression testing primarily manual, with exposure to automation.
Log and track defects with clear documentation.
Work with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
Contribute to maintaining and enhancing test case repositories.
Learn and gradually contribute to automated test scripts.
Participate in team meetings, reviews, and product discussions.

Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

2 4 years of experience in software testing (manual and/or automation).

Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.

Exposure to Linux-based environments.

Familiarity with web service testing (SOAP/REST).

Working knowledge of SQL for data validation.

Understanding of anyone scripting language (e.g., Groovy, JavaScript, Python).

Willingness to learn automation tools such as Selenium or REST Assured.

Strong attention to detail, curiosity, and commitment to quality.

Good communication and collaboration skills.

Additional Requirements: Preferred (Nice to Have)
Exposure to CI/CD environments (e.g., Jenkins).

Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).

Basic familiarity with cloud platforms (GKE, AKS, or EKS).
