Trainee - Quality Assurance @ Kody Technolab

Job Description

As a manual tester at MTAP, you will be an integral part of ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your role will involve closely collaborating with the development team to identify and report bugs, develop test cases, and conduct manual testing to uphold our products to the highest quality standards. Your primary objectives will include testing mobile and website applications to guarantee they meet quality standards for clients, identifying defects and bugs to be resolved with developers, creating test cases based on user stories and requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of user-centric software, and conducting regression testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for our products. To excel in this role, you will be expected to develop and maintain testing infrastructure within the organization, produce detailed test reports and performance analyses, actively engage in the software development life cycle for new products, and stay abreast of the latest testing technologies by attending conferences. The ideal candidate for this position will possess a graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, have experience with bug-tracking systems like JIRA, be familiar with web and mobile development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React Native, and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, ability to execute test plans and scripts, and effective management skills. Desirable qualifications include a Java certification, exposure to CI/CD tools like GitLab and Jenkins, familiarity with cloud technologies such as Azure and AWS, and experience in working with BDD frameworks like Cucumber or Karate. This position is suitable for candidates with 0-1 year of experience and is based in Gurugram.
