Job Description
- As a Video Conferencing Engineer at Infosys, you will have a crucial role in selecting the appropriate video conferencing equipment for the organization. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with the engineering team in the lab, testing and validating new hardware and software, managing and troubleshooting AV and Video Conferencing systems, and ensuring smooth operation of video conferencing hardware in both lab and live environments. You should have exposure to Video Conferencing tools such as Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex, and be familiar with their hardware requirements. Knowledge of devices like Logitech Rally devices, Cisco Webex Room series, and Poly Studio X devices is essential. Understanding of 3rd party Creston ad room-based video integration solutions and hands-on experience with video conferencing hardware upgrades, firmware, and patches are required. Additionally, experience in managing or testing Video Conferencing devices is a significant advantage. Preferred qualifications include experience with testing audio-visual (AV) hardware, Unified Communications, or meeting room technologies. You should have an understanding of video codecs, cameras, microphones, Audio DSP, AES67 configurations, and possess good communication skills to work effectively in a collaborative environment. Personal qualities such as high analytical skills, initiative, flexibility, customer orientation, and quality awareness are highly valued at Infosys. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role.
