Job Description
Role & responsibilities
ETL developer with POWER BI experience is must
Location: Marathahalli, Bangalore
FTE : Encora Innovative labs
Experience Required :
- Technical profile with 5+ years in Data warehousing and BI
- IBM Datastage 11.7 and SQL-PLSQL
- Working knowledge Oracle and PostGRE database
- Should have hands on experience in UNIX shell scripting
- Strong proficiency in writing and tuning SQL queries and Good knowledge on Datawarehouse models.
- Exposure in Data Analysis, design, report development and unit test experience with Power BI (POWERBI desktop, POWERBI Server and cloud).
- Performance Optimization in Reports and queries .
- Able to properly understand the business requirements and develop data models accordingly and transform into visuals.
- Ability analyze the models and build new models in POWERBI
- Ability to manage and monitor the schedules.
- An ability to independently research and solve complex reporting issues (Troubleshooting skills).
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred candidate profile
Knowledge Expectation :
- Understanding of Database management system, specifically RDBMS principles like normalization, de-normalization, data modelling, relationship models, ER Diagrams, etc.

- Understanding of methods to analyze and extract the data using Structured query languages.
- Ability to learn data extraction and different transformation methodologys using Algorithms, techniques and ETL Tools.
- Fundamentals of data warehouse and different schemas.
- Understanding of data security principles.
- Understanding of methods to access & model the data and turn to actionable insights using BI Tools
- Understanding of Operating system scripting Shell scripting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Optional (good to have)
- Optional : working experience using SAP BOBI 4.3 Tools (UDT, IDT, WEB Intelligence, CMC, Promotional management).
- Optional : Experience in report development and unit test experience with Web Intelligence reports.
- Optional : Proficient in creating and managing the BO universes using UDT and IDT.
- Optional : Experience in Universe conversion (unv to unx) and switching the reports unx and testing of the reports.
- Optional : Creating and managing the BO universes using UDT and IDT.
- Optional : Creating reports with multiple universes and managing the reports.
- Optional : Functional - Finance/Banking - Asset finance / Equipment finance / Leasing
