Job Description

L3 Azure AVD Engineer

Tech Stack: All L2 technologies plus ARM templates, Azure Automation, CI/CD pipelines, Azure Cost Management, Defender for Endpoint (VDI), Lakeside/Nexthink integration

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy AVD host pools, workspaces, and session host configurations via ARM templates.
• Implement autoscaling with Nerdio Manager or Azure Automation based on custom triggers.
• Optimize FSLogix profile store performance and configure caching policies.
• Enforce Conditional Access and MFA for AVD sessions.
• Integrate monitoring solutions for logon analytics and resource usage.
• Lead cost-optimization through reserved instances, tagging, and Cost Management dashboards.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 710 years of AVD/WVD design and operations experience.
• Advanced skills in FSLogix, ARM, and Azure DevOps automation.
