Senior Manager - QA @ Myntra

Responsibilities--

• Developing and Implementing Quality Control Systems:

This includes establishing quality assurance protocols, procedures, and training methods to ensure consistency and reliability.

Understanding quality assurance cycle and business need:

Ensuring compliance on ppm/ inline/ midline/final inspections post sample approval process. They also need to ensure QC at sample submission stages.

• Monitoring Production Processes:

This involves overseeing production lines, identifying potential issues, and implementing corrective actions to maintain quality and efficiency.

• Analyzing Data and Identifying Trends:

Quality Managers analyze data related to quality control processes, identifying trends and making recommendations for improvement.

• Leading and Managing Teams:

They lead and manage teams of quality control personnel, providing guidance, coaching, and support.

• Engaging with Customers:

This involves understanding customer needs and expectations, analyzing customer return data and addressing quality-related concerns.

• Ensuring Compliance:

They ensure compliance with regulatory standards, industry best practices, and company policies regarding quality assurance.

• Continuous Improvement:

Quality Managers drive continuous improvement initiatives, recommending process improvements and developing framework for first time right products and training vendors.

• Documentation and Reporting:

They create and maintain detailed records of quality reports and metrics, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• Training and Development:

They train and supervise quality assurance personnel, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills to perform their jobs effectively. This also includes training quality teams at vendors to create quality assurance as an integral part of manufacturing.

• Supplier Management:

They work with suppliers to ensure raw materials and components meet established quality standards. They are well versed with testing standards and protocols.

Skills and Experience:

• Technical Skills:

Proficiency in understanding of AQL inspection system, testing standards/ protocols.

• Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

The ability to communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and customers, and to build strong relationships.

The ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
