Job Description
- As a QA Tester for our Technology team in Mumbai, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software products. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and analyzing product requirements, collaborating with QA Engineers to develop effective testing strategies, executing test cases (manual or automated), and analyzing results. You will be expected to create test cases according to specifications, report bugs and errors to the development teams, and assist in troubleshooting issues. Additionally, you will conduct post-release/post-implementation testing and work with cross-functional teams to maintain quality throughout the software development lifecycle. To excel in this role, you should have proven experience as a QA tester or in a similar role, along with a solid understanding of QA methodology. Experience in Mobile testing across different operating systems and WEB testing with various browsers is essential. Knowledge of testing tools such as GA, Appboy, Urban Airship, Amplitude, MoEngage, CleaverTap, as well as TV application testing, will be advantageous. Familiarity with Agile frameworks, regression testing, and the ability to document and troubleshoot errors are desirable qualities. Having exposure to Proxy tools like Charles and Fiddler, as well as working knowledge of test management software such as Jira, will be beneficial. Strong communication skills, an analytical mindset, problem-solving aptitude, organizational skills, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field are required for this position. Moreover, familiarity with tools like Appium for mobile testing, experience in load testing, API testing, and a proactive approach to learning new technologies will be considered as additional advantages.
