Job Description
- You will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing scalable infrastructure using Terraform. Collaborating with cloud architects and developers to define infrastructure requirements and deploy services across AWS/Azure/GCP will be an essential part of your role. You will also need to create reusable modules and maintain consistent infrastructure code across different environments. Automation of provisioning, configuration, and deployment tasks using Terraform and related tools will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Integrating Terraform with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc., will also be part of your daily tasks. Monitoring and troubleshooting infrastructure issues to contribute to improving system reliability will be another important responsibility. Maintaining documentation for infrastructure design and procedures and ensuring that the infrastructure follows security and compliance best practices will also be crucial in this role. To be successful in this position, you must have at least 2-4 years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or related roles. Hands-on experience with Terraform in production environments is mandatory. A good understanding of cloud services, preferably AWS, along with experience in Azure or GCP is also acceptable. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools like GitLab and Git is required. Additionally, working knowledge of Linux-based systems and scripting languages such as Bash and Python is essential. You should also be well-versed in IaC principles, configuration management, and system orchestration. Experience using Terraform modules, state management, and remote backends, as well as systems performance monitoring and maintenance, will be necessary for this role. Troubleshooting issues across DevOps processes is also a key skill required. It would be beneficial if you have exposure to containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Knowledge of monitoring tools like Cloud-native monitoring services, Prometheus, Grafana, and EKS is a plus. Experience with policy-as-code tools like Terraform Sentinel or OPA will also be advantageous. Additionally, holding a certification in any major cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP) will be considered a strong advantage.
