Network Protocol Test Engineer ( Python ) - Truminds

Job Description

1. 4+ years of experience in Python scripting and automation development.
2. Hands-on experience with automation frameworks like Pytest, Robot Framework, or custom-built solutions.
3. Proficiency in Linux/Unix shell scripting and working in CLI-based environments.
4. Experience with network tools: Wireshark, iPerf etc.
5. Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.) and version control systems (Git).
7. Strong experience in Networking domain.
8. API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or custom Python scripts.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop robust automation frameworks using Python to support telecom system testing and operations.
2. Automate test cases for Networking products.
3. Integrate automation solutions with CI/CD pipelines and test management tools.
4. Develop and maintain API automation (REST/SOAP) for telecom backend and frontend components.
5. Analyze logs, network traces, and traffic using tools like Wireshark or tcpdump to validate automation results.
6. Work closely with network engineers, QA teams, and developers to ensure quality and reliability of telecom systems.
7. Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
