Senior Frontend Engineer - Generative AI Applications @ Grid Dynamics

Essential functions

• Develop intuitive and responsive user interfaces for generative AI applications

• Build conversational UI components for chatbots and AI assistants

• Implement real-time streaming interfaces for LLM responses

• Create data visualization components for LLM BI and analytics dashboards

• Develop code editor interfaces for AI coding agents

• Optimize application performance for large-scale AI-powered applications

• Collaborate with UX designers to create seamless AI interaction experiences

Qualifications

Frontend Development:

• 3+ years of experience with React.js and/or Angular modern JavaScript or TypeScript

• Proficiency with state management libraries (Redux, Zustand)

• Experience with Next.js for server-side rendering and full-stack development

• Strong knowledge of React Query/TanStack Query for data fetching and caching

• Experience with modern CSS frameworks (Tailwind CSS, styled-components)

• Knowledge of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility

Generative AI UI/UX:

• Experience building conversational interfaces and chat applications

• Knowledge of streaming data handling for real-time AI responses

• Experience with WebSocket connections and real-time communication

• Understanding of AI interaction patterns and user experience design

• Experience with code editor components and syntax highlighting

• Knowledge of data visualization libraries for AI analytics dashboards

Would be a plus

Good to Have:

• Experience with RAG chatbot interfaces and document upload/processing UI

• Knowledge of natural language to SQL query builders and result visualization

• Experience with AI agent interaction interfaces and workflow builders

• Understanding of prompt engineering tools and template management UIs

• Strong understanding of modern build tools (Webpack, Vite, etc.)

• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress)

• Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices

• Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows

• Understanding of SEO principles and web performance optimization

• Cloud platform experience with certifications preferred (AWS, GCP, Azure)

• Experience with component libraries and design systems

• Knowledge of Progressive Web App (PWA) development

• Familiarity with browser APIs and modern web standards
