Job Description
- Collaborate with engineering, QA, and product teams to ensure infrastructure is reliable, secure, and scalable.
- Lead the design and implementation of long-term improvements to infrastructure, with a forward-looking approach to scalability and automation.
- Enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitOps methodologies.
- Strengthen security posture across all environments, with a focus on infrastructure hardening, IAM, and compliance readiness (ISO 27001, etc.).
- Manage containerized deployments using Docker and Containerization Technologies.
- Own and optimize infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) configurations across staging and production.
- Ensure system availability and performance through monitoring, alerting, and proactive incident response.
- Participate in and improve the on-call rotation process, ensuring reliable incident management and post-mortems.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure role.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including: EC2, RDS, VPC, Security Groups, Subnets, Route Tables, EKS, ECS, Lambda, Elastic Beanstalk, API Gateway.
- Expertise in containerization (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, AWS ECS).
- Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
- Strong Linux administration skills and deep understanding of networking and security.
- Experience building and optimizing CI/CD workflows using Jenkins, GitOps, or similar tools.
- Proficient in scripting with Bash, Python, or Ruby.
- Experience managing secure infrastructure aligned with compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SSAE 16, NIST 800).
- Demonstrated experience in monitoring and logging best practices, ideally using tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK, etc.
- Strong communication skills able to clearly articulate decisions and collaborate across departments.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Experience working in a DevOps on-call or site reliability rotation.
- Passion for automation, observability, and continuous improvement.
