Job Description

Experience: 3.5 to 5 years

Requirement: Playwright Test Engineer

Work from home will be available on an optional basis.

Job Summary :

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.

4 4.5 years of QA experience, with a solid mix of manual testing and test automation.

Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle management.

Good knowledge of test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

Excellent documentation, reporting, and communication skills.

Experience contributing to or establishing QA best practices and governance frameworks.

Basic knowledge of API testing and SQL is a plus.

Analyze requirements, create detailed test plans, test cases, and test data.

Execute functional, integration, regression, and system testing manually.

Log, track, and verify defects using tools like JIRA or similar.

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Troubleshoot and debug failed test cases, ensuring robust automation coverage.

Continuously improve and optimize test automation frameworks.

Define and implement QA processes, best practices, and standards.

Ensure compliance with test governance policies and guidelines.

Maintain traceability of test cases to requirements and ensure proper documentation.

Review test cases, test results, and test coverage with the team to ensure high quality deliverables.

Provide regular reports and metrics on test progress, quality KPIs, and defect trends.

Support audits and ensure process adherence.

Nice to have:

Experience with other automation tools like Selenium or Cypress .
