Job Description
The MSME Development Expert will provide technical and operational support in implementing government schemes targeted at MSMEs. The role involves facilitating access to finance, market support, policy implementation, data management, and stakeholder coordination. The expert will work closely with public institutions, financial entities, and local partners to improve service delivery and scheme outreach to the target beneficiaries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of policies, schemes, and programs related to MSME development at the state level.
- Facilitate access to institutional credit and business development support for micro and small enterprises.
- Coordinate with banks, financial institutions, and government agencies to address bottlenecks and streamline beneficiary support.
- Support the design and execution of outreach, awareness, and capacity-building initiatives.
- Contribute to the preparation and monitoring of implementation plans, progress reports, and dashboards.
- Provide inputs for strategy formulation and feedback mechanisms based on field observations and stakeholder consultations.
- Assist in organizing training, exposure visits, marketing platforms, and other initiatives to strengthen the MSME ecosystem.
- Collaborate with other team members, implementing agencies, and field-level functionaries to ensure efficient and inclusive delivery of services.
- Maintain records and contribute to effective documentation, reporting, and performance tracking.
- Participate in review meetings, field visits, and evaluations to support continual improvement in program outcomes.
Qualification:
- MBA / Post Graduate Degree in Public administration / economic / Social Sciences/ Development Studies/ Rural Management / Postgraduate diploma in Business Management or equivalent degree
- Experience of minimum two (02) Years of working with Central Government / State Governments/ Public Agencies in supporting Micro and Small Enterprises predominantly in enhancing MSME sector capabilities in areas related with Access to credit, market linkages, MSME-centric business development services
- Ability to work in ambiguous environment and bring clarity by following a problem-solving attitude and a structured approach
- Excellent communication, business writing, presentation, project management skills and other fungible skills to succeed in the consulting environment
- Open mindset to work on assignments across multiple sectors
