Collibra Analyst @ Apptad

This role will involve close collaboration with data stewards, governance teams, and business stakeholders to ensure data governance tools are effectively used to support enterprise data management, compliance tracking, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day support for Collibra DGC, including:

o Managing workflows, user roles, and permissions

o Onboarding new users and supporting adoption

o Creating and maintaining assets in the data catalog and business glossary

Assist in implementing metadata standards, data classification, and lineage documentation

Ensure governance processes align with compliance requirements by tracking policies, ownership, and stewardship responsibilities

Support development and deployment of governance workflows (e.g., asset approval, stewardship assignments)

Help identify and document enhancements or configuration updates to the Collibra platform based on user needs

Collaborate with data governance teams to maintain documentation, training materials, and operational procedures

Provide support during governance audits and periodic reviews

Required Qualifications

24 years of relevant experience in data governance, metadata management, or Collibra administration

Working knowledge of Collibra Data Governance Center or other governance tools (Alation, Informatica, etc.)

Strong attention to detail with ability to manage structured data and metadata

Good communication skills to interact with business and technical stakeholders

Proficiency in Excel, and basic understanding of SQL

Ability to document and maintain governance standards and operating procedures

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to data governance in regulated industries such as life sciences, healthcare, or financial services

Experience with data cataloging, business glossary development, and compliance tracking

Familiarity with data governance frameworks and roles & responsibilities models

Knowledge of Collibra workflow configurations, asset model customization, or API integration is a plus
