Job Title: Oracle Cloud ERP Developer (PL/SQL, APEX, Oracle PaaS)
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Developer with deep expertise in Oracle PL/SQL to lead the design, development, and implementation of high-quality enterprise applications. This role will focus on building and maintaining robust, scalable database-driven solutions and custom extensions for Oracle Cloud ERP using Oracle PaaS and Exadata Cloud Service. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Oracle APEX, Oracle Cloud ERP (especially the Accounts Receivable module), and a strong understanding of integration technologies including FBDI and REST APIs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end design, development, and implementation of database applications using Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle APEX.
- Architect, design, and optimize complex database schemas, stored procedures, triggers, functions, and views for high-performance applications.
- Develop and maintain custom extensions on Oracle PaaS integrated with Oracle Cloud ERP, leveraging Exadata Cloud Service.
- Build and support integrations with Oracle Cloud ERP using FBDI, REST APIs, and other Oracle integration tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, project managers, and ERP functional consultants to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices in PL/SQL and APEX development, ensuring high standards of code quality, performance, and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks in PL/SQL and database operations.
- Develop and maintain Unix shell scripts to support automation and integration workflows.
- Work with Kafka streams for real-time data processing and integration scenarios.
- Ensure all solutions comply with company policies, security standards, and data governance requirements.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in Oracle database development with strong proficiency in PL/SQL, Oracle APEX, Oracle BI Publisher, and OCI.
- Deep understanding of relational database design, optimization, and advanced PL/SQL features (cursors, bulk collections, exception handling, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud ERP, particularly in the Accounts Receivable (AR) module and its underlying table structures.
- Proven experience building inbound and outbound interfaces with Oracle Cloud ERP using FBDI and REST APIs.
- Strong SQL tuning, query optimization, and database performance troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with Web Services, APIs, and integrating external systems with Oracle databases.
- Exposure to Oracle PaaS, Exadata Cloud Service, and Oracle Autonomous Database.
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux environments and scripting.
- Exposure to Kafka or similar streaming platforms is a strong plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Oracle Cloud certifications in ERP or related technologies.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with other Oracle ERP modules is a plus.
