Job Description
Automation Development:
Design and implement automation scripts and workflows to collect data from various infrastructure devices.
Use tools like Python, Perl, Ansible, PowerShell, and REST APIs to build scalable and reusable collectors.
Integrate with ZENfras ingestion pipeline and ensure data is structured and normalized for analysis.
Infrastructure Integration:
Work across diverse environments including on-prem, hybrid, and cloud setups.
Interface with storage, backup, compute, and network platforms to extract relevant configuration and performance data.
Product Enablement:
Support ZENfra product implementation across customer environments.
Collaborate with consulting and engineering teams to ensure automation aligns with customer use cases and ZENfra capabilities.
Customer Support & Success:
Assist in troubleshooting automation issues and support customer onboarding.
Provide technical documentation and training to internal teams and customers.
Act as a technical liaison between customers and product teams.
Required Skills & Experience:
5+ years of experience in infrastructure automation, scripting, or DevOps roles.
Strong proficiency in Python, Perl, Ansible, PowerShell, and RESTful APIs.
Experience with infrastructure platforms such as VMware, NetApp, Dell EMC, Veritas, Commvault, Cisco, etc.
Familiarity with data collection protocols (SNMP, SSH, WMI, etc.).
Experience in product implementation and customer support is a strong plus.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities across customer engagements.
Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid infrastructure.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
Knowledge of ZENfra or similar data collection and analysis platforms.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
