Job Description
Description:We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Python development and MySQL, along with hands-on experience in Big Data technologies, PySpark, and cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing and developing scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support advanced analytics and data-driven decision-making across teams.
Requirements:
- 7 to 12 years of overall experience in data engineering or related domains.
- Proven ability to work independently on analytics engines like Big Data and PySpark.
- Strong hands-on experience in Python programming, with a focus on data handling and backend services.
- Proficiency in MySQL, with the ability to write and optimize complex queries; knowledge of Redis is a plus.
- Solid understanding and hands-on experience with public cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana, ELK, Loki, and Prometheus.
- Experience with IaC tools like Terraform and Helm.
- Proficiency in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work in agile and cross-functional environments.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines using Big Data and PySpark for ETL/ELT processes.
- Build scalable and efficient data solutions across cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) using modern tools and technologies
- Write high-quality, maintainable, and efficient code in Python for data engineering tasks.
- Develop and optimize complex queries using MySQL and work with caching systems like Redis.
- Implement monitoring and logging using Grafana, ELK, Loki, and Prometheus to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Use Terraform and Helm for infrastructure provisioning and automation (Infrastructure as Code).
- Leverage Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration of services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and analytics to deliver impactful data solutions.
- Contribute to system architecture decisions and influence best practices in cloud data infrastructure.
