Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
8+ years of experience with Shopify development and e-commerce architecture.
Extensive experience in designing and implementing scalable e-commerce solutions on Shopify Plus.
Proficient in Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks.
Strong experience with API integrations, third-party apps, and custom development in Shopify.
Expertise in e-commerce best practices, payment gateways, security, and performance optimization.
Knowledge of modern development practices, including Agile and DevOps.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with other e-commerce platforms such as Magento, WooCommerce, or BigCommerce.
Certification in Shopify or similar e-commerce solutions.
Knowledge of server-side technologies, database management, and cloud platforms.
Experience with automated testing frameworks and version control systems like Git.
Job Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
Architecture Design: Lead the design, implementation, and scaling of Shopify-based solutions tailored to the business needs.
Technical Leadership: Provide leadership in selecting the right tools, technologies, and frameworks to optimize Shopify and e-commerce development processes.
Solution Implementation: Develop and integrate complex Shopify solutions, including custom themes, apps, and third-party integrations.
Optimization & Performance: Identify bottlenecks and performance issues, and implement strategies to enhance site speed, scalability, and reliability.
E-commerce Strategy: Collaborate with business stakeholders to define e-commerce strategy, ensuring the architecture aligns with goals for growth, user experience, and ROI.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with design, product, and development teams to ensure seamless execution of e-commerce projects.
Compliance & Security: Ensure that all e-commerce solutions comply with industry standards, best practices, and legal requirements, including security and payment processing.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to Shopify and e-commerce integrations.
Continuous Improvement: Stay current with the latest Shopify trends, tools, and technologies to drive innovation and keep the platform competitive.
Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members.
