Job Description:
We are urgently hiring a Network Engineer with CCNP Security certification to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in network troubleshooting, security configuration, and managing enterprise network environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and handle escalations from internal teams and monitoring tools related to service/network/security issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving firewalls, VPNs, routers, switches, BGP, MPLS, and load balancers.
- Plan and execute network maintenance including hardware replacement, software upgrades, and security changes.
- Implement routing and security policy changes as per approved incident response or maintenance plan.
- Prepare and maintain accurate network diagrams and security documentation.
- Coordinate with teams during critical incidents; handle root cause analysis and recovery.
- Conduct regular network performance tuning and security checks.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in network and security infrastructure.
- Strong working knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, intrusion prevention systems, and secure routing.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and escalation management.
- Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
Must-Have Certifications:
- CCNP Security (Mandatory)
- Bonus if you hold other vendor certifications like Fortinet, Palo Alto, or Check Point.
Education:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Electronics or equivalent.
