Job Title: Data Engineer

Experience: 4+ years

Job Description: We're looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you'll design, build, and maintain large-scale data systems that meet our business needs. You'll work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless data integration, processing, and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain large-scale data pipelines and architectures
• Develop data ingestion, processing, and storage solutions using tools like Apache Beam, Spark, Kafka, or cloud-native services
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and develop data products
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing data pipelines and systems
• Optimize data systems for performance, scalability, and reliability
• Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering

Technical Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field
• Strong experience with data processing frameworks like Apache Spark, Beam, or Flink
• Proficiency in Java programming language
• Experience with Apache Kafka and Kafka ecosystem (Kafka Streams, Kafka Connect, etc.)
• Experience with data storage solutions like relational databases, NoSQL databases, or cloud-native storage services
• Knowledge of data integration tools like Apache NiFi, Talend, or Informatica
• Familiarity with data governance, quality, and security best practices
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their respective data services
• Strong understanding of data architecture principles and data warehousing concepts

Nice to Have:

• Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries
• Knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools like Jenkins, Docker, or Kubernetes
• Experience with data cataloging and metadata management tools
• Knowledge of data lake architectures and data warehousing solutions
• Experience with Python or Scala programming languages
