Backend Developer-Skyspark @ Apptad

About the Role We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with strong experience in back-end development to contribute to our Smart Building Platform 2.0 (SBP 2.0) initiative. This platform plays a critical role in enabling intelligent building operations through real-time data, analytics, and automation. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain robust back-end solutions using SkySpark, particularly Axon and Fantom scripting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product owners, architects, QA) to implement scalable and high-performance features. Contribute to technical discussions and provide solutions aligned with project goals and architectural guidelines. Ensure code quality through best practices, code reviews, and unit testing. Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.

Required Skills & Experience 3+ years of Proven experience with SkySpark platform, including hands-on work with Axon and Fantom. Strong understanding of back-end architecture, data models, and integration patterns. Familiarity with building automation systems or IoT platforms is a plus. Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Nice to Have Experience with building management systems (BMS), energy analytics, or smart infrastructure projects. Exposure to containerization, cloud platforms, or DevOps tools.
