Business Analyst - Digital Payments @ Brickendon Consulting

Job Description

We are seeking a strong Business Analyst with proven expertise in Digital Payments, ideally with exposure to global banking environments. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of digital transaction flows, payment gateways, and industry standards, coupled with strong BA fundamentals including stakeholder management and documentation.

Preferred candidate profile

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document requirements related to digital payment systems and platforms
  
• Work closely with Product, UX/UI, and Engineering teams to translate business needs into functional specifications
  
• Write user stories and acceptance criteria following BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) principles
  
• Engage with global stakeholders across time zones (US shift coverage required)
  
• Ensure seamless coordination across Agile squads for sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
  

Key Skills:

• Strong domain expertise in Digital Payments (ACH, RTGS, SWIFT, UPI, wallets, cross-border, etc.)
  
• Experience working within or for HSBC or similar global banks is highly preferable
  
• Proficiency in UX/UI collaboration and understanding of customer journey mapping
  
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
  
• Working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, and Agile methodology
  

Work Hours: 4:00 PM 12:00 AM IST (US Eastern Time overlap)
