Job Description
Preferred Experience and Qualification:Determine the appropriate approach for new software assignments
Provide high-level maintenance and update of an existing applications to improve functionality and process flow
Provide solutions to overcome complex problems using the latest technologies
Oversee the maintenance of technical documentation of application s architecture, code, and procedures
QA Engineer Skills:
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Reviewing quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
Design, develop & execute detailed test cases for functional, system, and regression testing.
Works closely with development and product teams and understands business requirements
Communicates accurately the status and risks for ongoing work and timelines
Creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
Estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating quality testing activities
Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open-source tools
Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
Knowledge of using Agile Project Management Tools like ADO (Good to have)
Sound Knowledge of Python Test Automation, Selenium, and Pytest
Experience in Web and API testing (Good to Have)
Experience working in Agile/ Scrum
Selenium Automation Knowledge/ experience preferred (Must have)
Jenkins /DevOps Knowledge. (Good to have)
Proficient with open-source test frameworks (i.e. Keyword Driven, Hybrid, Data Driven, BDD,TDD) (Must have)
Proficient with open-source automation tools (i.e. Selenium, Cucumber, SOAP/REST) (Must have)
Proficient with programming languages (i.e. Java, Python) (Must have)
API Test automation will be a plus (Good to have)
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Experience with Quality Assurance and testing tools
Knowledge of software testing principles, methods, and processes
Expertise in writing complex SQL queries
Python Scripting Experience.
