Job Description

Position Summary

They are looking for a data/application engineer who is highly skilled in Palantir Foundry, PySpark, Python, and MySQL. The person will work on data integration and application development, with deployment on cloud platforms.

Must-Have Skills

1. Palantir Foundry This is the main skill. The candidate must have at least 5 years of hands-on experience using Foundry for building data pipelines, integrating data sources, and creating applications.
   
2. PySpark For large-scale data processing (distributed computing).
   
3. Python For scripting, automation, and backend application logic.
   
4. MySQL For database handling, querying, and data management.
   
5. Data Integration & Application Development Ability to pull data from different systems, transform it, and build usable applications.
   
6. Cloud Deployment Experience deploying and managing apps in cloud environments (could be AWS, Azure, or GCP).
   
7. Agile Methodologies Comfortable working in Agile sprints, using tools like Jira/Trello for tracking work.
   
8. Performance Optimization Ability to troubleshoot and make applications run faster and more efficiently.
