Python Powershell Developer @ Programming.Com

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and PowerShell for system provisioning and configuration.
• Perform on-prem physical server builds for both Windows and Unix-based systems.
• Implement VM provisioning and automation workflows in public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to automate routine operational tasks.
• Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks for server builds and cloud deployments.
• Participate in incident resolution and root cause analysis for automation-related issues.
• Ensure all automation tasks follow security and compliance guidelines.
• Document implementation procedures and scripts for operational handovers.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in IT automation roles.
• Strong proficiency in PowerShell scripting (Windows automation, remote execution, task scheduling).
• Proficient in Python scripting for automation and orchestration tasks.
• Experience with on-premise infrastructure setup for Windows and Unix/Linux servers.
• Hands-on experience in cloud VM provisioning and automation (AWS EC2, Azure VMs, GCP Compute Engine).
• Familiarity with cloud-native automation tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates, CloudFormation) is a plus.
• Good understanding of networking, storage, and system administration fundamentals.
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible) is a bonus.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
