Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for both API and UI testing, ensuring functional
correctness, performance validation, and long-term script reusability. - Utilize Python-based frameworks (e.g., Pytest) to write, manage, and execute automated tests, incorporating best practices for modular and data-driven testing.
- Implement Ul test automation using tools such as Playwright or Selenium and conduct robust API testing using Python and related libraries.
- Apply Al-enhanced testing methodologies, including using tools like GitHub Copilot to accelerate script development and improve code quality through contextual Al suggestions. Good understanding of Git and Github.
- Apply testing methodologies such as Agile Testing, Risk-Based Testing. Exploratory Testing, and Shift-Left Testing, ensuring early defect identification and alignment with development cycles.
- Collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and product teams to define testing requirements, prioritize test scenarios, and ensure alignment with business and customer goals.
Preferred candidate profile
- Proficient in programming languages like Python, JavaScript, typescript capable of writing clean, efficient, and
scalable code for testing and automation. - Strong experience in test automation tools for both API and Ul testing, including hands-on usage of Selenium,
Playwright, Postman, or equivalent frameworks. - Familiarity with using Al-based developer tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor etc. 10 boost test development
efficiency. - Exposure to Al/ML concepts, with a curiosity or experience in integrating LLMs (e.g. GPT-4, Claude, Gemini) into QA workflows to assist with test case generation or defect triaging.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to thrive in a cross-functional, fast-paced team environment.
