Senior Software Engineer - Automation Testing @ Aditya Birla Sun Life

Job Description

As a Web and Mobile Applications Tester, you will be responsible for testing web-based and mobile applications. You must have a strong working knowledge of programming languages such as Java and Python. Understanding software requirements and architecture specifications is essential to perform testing activities, including writing and executing manual test cases and automating them. You will collaborate with both remote and on-site development teams and interface with the Quality Assurance Department to ensure software verification and validation tests are conducted effectively. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering and have 4 to 7 years of experience in testing web-based applications across multiple desktop and mobile platforms. Additionally, you should have 1-2 years of experience in UI/API automation testing using Python-based test automation frameworks. Familiarity with cloud-based cross-browser testing tools like Sauce Labs and knowledge/experience in Python-based automation testing are required. Preferred qualifications include knowledge of cloud technologies such as Azure, experience in performance testing with JMeter, understanding of Agile principles, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional project teams. Experience in automation testing of dockerized applications is also a plus.,
