Job Description
- As a Lead Software Engineer (Frontend) at MakeMyTrip (MMT), you will play a crucial role in leveraging cutting-edge technologies like AI, machine learning, and cloud infrastructure to create seamless and innovative travel experiences. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain high-performance web applications using React.js and Redux, ensuring optimal speed and scalability. You will own one or more modules end-to-end, from project planning to architectural design, and conduct code reviews to ensure high quality. Collaboration with business teams to define requirements and deliver on-time product solutions will be a key aspect of your role. You will write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, while staying up to date with industry trends to optimize UI/UX designs for feasibility and performance. Additionally, you will own and manage the technical aspects of web and mobile applications, ensuring seamless deployment and functionality. To excel in this role, you should hold a BE/BTech in Computer Science from a premier institute and have 6-8 years of experience with high-scale tech-product companies. Your expertise in JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and modern frameworks like React.js and Redux will be essential. Proficiency in Webpack, Jest, and CI/CD pipelines, with a plus for TypeScript experience, is highly desirable. A strong understanding of responsive design, RESTful APIs, browser rendering, and performance is crucial, along with familiarity with Git, Agile methodologies, and exceptional problem-solving skills.
