Software Engineer Intern @ Syncortex

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Software Engineering Intern with strong programming skills and a keen interest in building real-world applications using C# and .NET technologies. This internship offers hands-on experience in software development, exposure to modern development practices, and the opportunity to contribute to live projects under the guidance of experienced engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, and testing of software applications using C# and .NET Framework / .NET Core.
  
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
  
• Debug, troubleshoot, and fix issues in existing applications.
  
• Collaborate with the engineering team to understand requirements and deliver assigned tasks.
  
• Participate in code reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, and agile ceremonies.
  
• Contribute to the documentation of technical processes and project-related artifacts.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of C# programming language and object-oriented concepts.
  
• Familiarity with .NET Framework / .NET Core for application development.
  
• Basic understanding of web technologies (ASP.NET, REST APIs, HTML, CSS, JavaScript is a plus).
  
• Knowledge of SQL / relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server preferred).
  
• Familiarity with source control systems (e.g., Git).
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly.
  
• Currently pursuing a Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  

Preferred (Good to Have)

• Exposure to Entity Framework, LINQ, and MVC patterns.
  
• Experience with Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code IDE.
  
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) is a plus.
