Roles & Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)
- Design and build high-performance, reusable, and responsive UI components using React.js , JavaScript , and TypeScript .
- Write test-driven, maintainable code and follow industry standards and web development best practices
- Implement new features and maintain existing features of production pipeline
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Architects, UX Designers, Engineering managers, Product Owners and backend engineers (Java, Node.js), QA , and design teams to deliver cohesive product features.
- Implement state management solutions including Redux, where applicable.
- Apply TDD principles and build test coverage using Jest , Cypress , React Testing Library , etc.
- Work in a cloud-native development environment (AWS preferred) involving microservices, REST APIs, and CI/CD pipelines with Docker.
- Optimize frontend performance and user experience through profiling and efficient code practices.
- Write modular, maintainable code while adhering to clean code principles and coding standards .
- Support the development and integration of frontend applications with authentication , authorization , and data security protocols .
- Participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior UI engineers and drive frontend architectural decisions.
Technical Requirements:
Exposure to other frontend frameworks such as Angular, Vue, or Svelte. micro frontend architecture component-driven development - 8-10 years of experience in building scalable and responsive frontend applications.
- Undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required, with graduate degree preferred
- Expertise in React.js , JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and frontend build tools.
- Experience with Node.js (basic backend awareness) and understanding of REST API integration.
- Experience in MERN & MEAN Stack
- Hands on experience with JavaScript Development on both client and server-side
- Understanding of Service Oriented Architectures and RESTful Web Service best practices
- Demonstrate the ability to reduce complex ideas and problems into clear concepts and solutions
- Familiarity with AWS services (S3, API Gateway, Cognito, CloudFront) and cloud-native UI design.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines , Git, and version control workflows.
- Proficiency in cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and web performance optimization.
- Hands-on knowledge of testing frameworks : Jest, Cypress, React Testing Library, Chai Mocha, Jasmine.
- Experience working with Docker , Bitbucket/GitHub, and Agile development.
