Earthmovers In-charge & Weigh Bridge Operator @ Zigma Global Environ

Job Description

Role & responsibilities

• Supervise the operation of earthmoving equipment (excavators, bulldozers, loaders, dumpers, JCBs, etc.).
• Plan and allocate machinery as per project/site requirements.
• Monitor daily maintenance checks, fuel usage, and servicing schedules.
• Enforce strict safety measures for operators and ground staff.
• Manage and guide machine operators and support staff.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and assign work duties.
• Work closely with Project Engineers, Site Managers, and Supervisors
• Operate the weighbridge system to record accurate weights of incoming and outgoing vehicles.
• Ensure proper weighing of raw materials, finished goods, and other loads.
• Generate and maintain weighment slips for all transactions.
• Record and update data in registers/software (manual & digital).
• Communicate daily weighbridge data to the accounts/operations team.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly weighbridge reports.
• Share weighment data with project/site engineers and management.
• Report technical faults or system issues immediately for resolution.
