Software Test Engineer @ IBM

Job Description

Design, develop and execute test cases-based requirements and user stories.Troubleshoot and isolate problems encountered during testing, triage and root cause analysis and feedback to the Development team.Define and prepare test data and test environments to support testing.Ensure that our software components are developed and thoroughly tested following best practices and are ready for integration into IBMs best-of-breed solutions that help organizations improve their business outcomes in the global marketplace. Required education
Bachelor's Degree Preferred education
Bachelor's Degree Required technical and professional expertise 3 years of relevant industry experience. Hands on experience in authoring and executing the test scenarios/testcases.Experience to work in enterprise level web and windows based application.Experience with all testing typesblack box, white box, regression, integration.Ability to understand and clearly document complex multi-faceted technical issues.Communicate Code Quality metrics to all stakeholders, work with developers to track and fix defects.Experience of working in Agile, Scrum, DevOps methodologies with global teams.Understanding of web applications, Java or other object-oriented programming language.Excellent communication skills.Self-starter, quick learner who enjoys working in a challenging, fast paced environment.
