Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Jr. Cloud & System Administrator with 1+ years of relevant experience to take full ownership of Azure/AWS-related projects. The ideal candidate will adeptly manage both cloud and on-premises environments, suggest and implement IT tools and technologies, share innovative ideas. This role demands the ability to work independently, handle client interactions, and provide guidance and training to employees. Flexibility for rotational shifts and the ability to work from branch offices based on project needs are essential.
Role & responsibilities
Cloud Administration:
- Manage and maintain Azure/AWS infrastructure, including virtual machines, networks, storage accounts, and other cloud resources.
- Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
- Implement and manage identity and access management solutions.
- Handle backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure/AWS services and resources.
- Implement security policies, RBAC, and network security measures.
- Utilize monitoring tools and Azure cost management to oversee cloud environments.
- Prepare a technical document and uploaded to internal Knowledge base tool.
IT Tools and Technologies:
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.
- Vendor / ISP Management
- Good knowledge in shell scripting and PowerShell scripting
- Good knowledge in network devices (switches & firewall) - Handling software, hardware installations and troubleshooting.
- Maintaining IT assets inventory.
- Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary, testing new technology.
- Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.
- Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone)
- Resolve technical issues in a timely manner using available resources within the company
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
- In depth knowledge of Windows 10,11, Mac OS,
- Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory Server.
- Knowledge about the CCTV, Biometric.
- Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial actions taken, or installation activities
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Educational Background: Bachelors/Masters in a related field.
Experience: 1+ years in Jr. System & Cloud Administration, specifically with Azure administration. Technical Expertise: Managing and configuring cloud resources (VMs, networks, storage, etc.), understanding of Azure Active Directory, security, and compliance.
Hardware & Networking: Strong knowledge in A+ & N+.
Ticket Level: Handling L1, L2 Support tickets and provide a technical solution and adhere SLA. Monitoring & Cost Management: Experience with relevant monitoring tools and cost management practices.
Soft Skills: strong communication skill, plus the ability to work independently.
Certifications: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or similar.
