Job Description
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer with 2-5 years of experience to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Java and Spring frameworks, experienced with databases (both relational and NoSQL), caching systems, message queues, and observability tools. The role involves developing scalable software solutions, optimizing existing applications, and ensuring system reliability through effective debugging and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain robust, high-performance applications using Java and Spring.
- Design and implement database solutions using RDBMS (MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
- Integrate caching solutions using Redis or Aerospike to optimize application performance.
- Leverage Kafka for asynchronous message processing and real-time data integration.
- Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot complex issues within production systems.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, QA, and DevOps.
- Utilize observability and monitoring tools such as Grafana, New Relic, and Graylog for application performance tracking and issue diagnosis.
- Document technical designs, processes, and best practices clearly and effectively.
Required Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Framework.
- Solid understanding and hands-on experience with relational databases (MySQL).
- Good working knowledge of NoSQL databases, preferably MongoDB.
- Experience implementing caching solutions like Redis or Aerospike.
- Hands-on experience with message queue systems such as Kafka.
- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Grafana, New Relic, Graylog, etc.)
Good to Have:
- Basic knowledge of Python programming.
- Awareness and understanding of Generative AI concepts and applications.
- Experience with cloud services, particularly AWS.
- Exposure to containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Understanding of CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
