Job Description
Role & responsibilities
The Quality Analyst (QA) is responsible for evaluating and improving the quality of services, ensuring they meet the required standards and specifications. The role involves conducting thorough testing, identifying defects, documenting issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that the final product is of the highest quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manual and Automated Testing:
- Conduct manual testing on web, mobile, or desktop applications.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts for regression, functional, and performance testing, if applicable.
- Defect Identification & Tracking:
- Identify and document bugs, issues, or inconsistencies found during testing and track them through to resolution.
- Perform root cause analysis to understand the origin of defects and collaborate with the development team for timely fixes.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure products and systems meet business requirements, technical specifications, and quality standards.
- Execute different types of testing, including but not limited to functional, regression, integration, performance, usability, and security testing.
- Participate in sprint meetings, provide testing progress updates, and contribute to product release decisions.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain clear and detailed documentation for test cases, results, and defect logs.
- Prepare comprehensive test reports for internal and client-facing communications
Preferred candidate profile
- Manual Testing(Web & Mobile)
- API Testing (Postman)
- Agile Methodology
- SDLC & STLC Process
- Working knowledge on tools like JIRA, Proof hub and GitHub
- Work with the application team to resolve any issues that arise out of the testing process
- Knowledge towards the Automation Testing
- Knowledge towards the DBMS
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work
