Job Description
Job Title: Cloud Support Engineer L1 / L2 (Multi-Cloud Environment)
Department: Cloud Infrastructure & Support
Experience:
- L1: 1-4 years (Mandatory hands on experience on at least one major cloud platform mentioned below)
- L2: 4-7 years (Mandatory hands on experience on at least two major cloud platform mentioned below)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on support for at least two major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle OCI).
- Assist in cloud-to-cloud migration projects including planning, execution, and post-migration validation.
- Support and assist in patch management planning and implementation as per defined schedule and security policies.
- Understand and support implementation of cloud security tools and best practices under the guidance of L3/SMEs.
- L1 will perform defined support tasks, health checks, and basic troubleshooting.
- L2 will perform intermediate-level activities with supervision from L3/SME, including change implementations and monitoring enhancements.
- Work collaboratively with Cloud SMEs to identify opportunities for cloud optimization and cost control.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Hands-on experience with at least two cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or Oracle OCI) is mandatory.
- Knowledge of cloud migration tools, services, and strategies.
- Familiarity with patching cycles, OS updates, and scheduling in cloud environments.
- Exposure to cloud security frameworks like IAM, VPC, security groups, key vaults, etc.
- Good understanding of ITIL processes, especially Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
- Strong communication skills and team collaboration abilities.
