Job Description
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Actuary with a strong background in Life Insurance Pricing. You will be responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies for life insurance products, ensuring financial sustainability while aligning with business objectives. The role involves close collaboration with product, finance, underwriting, and technology teams to drive innovation in nsurance offerings.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and optimize pricing models for life insurance products, ensuring a balance between
competitiveness and profitability.
Perform experience analysis to assess mortality, morbidity, persistency, and other key
assumptions impacting pricing.
Conduct risk assessments and scenario testing to ensure product sustainability and financial
viability.
Support product development initiatives, providing actuarial insights into structure, premium
rates, and market positioning.
Ensure regulatory compliance with IRDAI guidelines and contribute to actuarial reporting and
certifications.
Analyze claims and persistency trends, identifying areas for improvement in pricing and
underwriting strategies.
Collaborate with finance, underwriting, and product teams to align actuarial outputs with
business goals
Requirements
Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of India (FIAI) or an equivalent global certification (e.g., FIA,
FSA).
8+ years of actuarial experience, with a focus on Life Insurance Pricing.
Strong expertise in mortality, morbidity, and persistency analysis.
Experience in product pricing, valuation, and risk assessment within the life insurance domain.
Proficiency in actuarial software such as Prophet, R, Python, or similar tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
Excellent communication skills to present complex actuarial concepts to stakeholders.
