Desired Candidate Profile

Looking for a dynamic, creative in-house developer to help launch new sites, implement new features and functionality, and maintain existing WordPress sites.

If you're passionate about WordPress, you write clean, well-documented code, you can hand code pixel-perfect responsive layouts from Photoshop files and specs, and interesting in tackling a series of new, exciting projects, we want to talk to you.

We are looking for a candidate who

Can assist in the design, coding, and testing of technical solutions
Is able to work over and deliver projects independently
Is also able to coordinate well with the team and progress quickly over deliverable
Understands project and development plans and is able to clearly articulate roles, project goals, and timelines

Skills Required

Knowledge of core PHP, MySQL, JavaScript and CSS
Knowledge of WordPress is a plus
Hands-on experience with javascript, jQuery, CSS (SASS/SCSS gives an added advantage), a CSS framework
Ability to solve problems logically, not by trial and error
Knowledge about MySQL and databases
Should adhere to coding standards and best practices when implementing a solution; code is expected to be readable, syntactically and semantically correct

Additional Requirements

Candidate must possess good communication skills
Ability to take projects from concept through execution
Understands and can speak to all aspects of the development life cycle (e.g. requirements, analysis, design, implementation, testing, and documentation)
