About the Role
In this role, youll sit at the crossroads of finance, marketing and operationshelping Motilal Oswal deploy capital where it delivers maximum impact. By building robust financial models, analysing channel economics and tracking ROI, youll ensure our investments across digital campaigns, branch activations and franchise incentives drive scalable growth in AUM, new demat accounts and fee income.


What Youll Do

  • Partner with marketing, distribution and product teams to model customer acquisition cost, lifetime value and payback period for segments such as HNI, retail and NRI investors
  • Manage budgeting and forecasts for growth initiativesonline advertising, local branch events, partner programmes and co-branded offersmonitoring spend vs. performance daily
  • Analyse the unit economics of channels (SEM, social ads, affiliate, BTL events, roadshows), recommending optimal mixes to maximise incremental AUM and reduce overall CAC
  • Design incentive structures for sub-brokers, APs and branch managersaligning revenue-share, milestone payouts and non-monetary rewards to business targets and regulatory guidelines
  • Develop pricing frameworks for new products (mutual funds, PMS, lending solutions), assessing fee structures, competitive benchmarks and margin impact
  • Build and maintain dashboards that surface key metricsnew accounts, active users, AUM growth, churn rates and cohort paybackpresenting insights in monthly Business Review meetings
  • Drive scenario planning for expansion into Tier-2/3 towns, evaluating market potential, working-capital needs and capital expenditure under RBI and SEBI norms
  • Automate data pipelines in collaboration with BI teams, ensuring real-time visibility into spend, performance and forecast variances

Who You Can Be

  • A finance professional with 46 years experience in FP&A, growth finance or business partnering within Indias financial services sector
  • Expert in Excel, SQL (or Python) and financial modelling, comfortable translating complex assumptions into flexible, decision-ready scenarios
  • A storyteller who turns numbers into clear recommendations that guide marketing, operations and leadership on investment trade-offs
  • A data-driven collaborator who can work seamlessly with CMOs, branch heads, product managers and compliance teams
  • Someone who understands Indias broking, advisory and lending landscapesincluding regulatory considerations around client acquisition and incentives
