Job Description
Job Title: Associate Quality Analyst
Location: Noida
Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Associate-QA (Fresher) to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of software development and testing processes and a keen interest in ensuring software quality through manual and automated testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in writing and executing test cases based on project requirements.
- Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications to identify bugs and usability issues.
- Work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.
- Document test results and log defects using bug tracking tools like JIRA.
- Participate in sprint planning and daily stand-up meetings as part of the Agile process.
- Learn and implement basic automation using tools like Selenium (optional).
Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
- Understanding of different types of testing -functional, regression, smoke, etc.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools.
- Good communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in the QA domain.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Exposure to programming/scripting languages (.Net, React) is a plus.
- Basic understanding of automation tools like Selenium is a bonus.
- Any relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB) will be considered a plus.
