Project Engineer - Civil @ Mukand Ltd

Job Description

Role & responsibilities

• Support industrial engineering and new project activities across the business
• Prepare and maintain qualification documentation and other requirements for any new equipment or engineering activity
• Manage availability of updated drawings at all times
• Periodically review production schedules, processes, specifications and other relevant information to identify opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness improvement
• Prepare periodic project update reports ensuring accurate and timely reporting of the relevant KPIs
• Execute effective control systems to minimize and resolve production issues and project costs
• Conduct studies to identify impact of various factors on engineering processes and manpower efficiency and highlight results and implications
• Manage the systems and plant production to ensure all products meet quality standard controls
• Engage cross-functional teams for new projects and initiatives, ensuring availability of updated information and data at all times
• Highlight opportunities to bring in process improvements and technological upgrades and support implementation of the commissioned projects
• Stay updated with engineering innovations happening in the industry and highlight the same within Mukand
• Support training of internal teams to drive / carry forward engineering initiatives

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 5 years experience in the steel manufacturing industry, with detailed understanding of driving industrial engineering, process improvement and cost optimization initiatives
