Senior Backend Developer - Node.JS @ CMS Computers

Job Description

Qualification -

1. Role Overview: Seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer to design, implement, and optimize Node.js backend solutions, working closely with Solution Architect and Technical Lead.
2. Experience Required: 6-8 years in Node.js backend development.
3. Architecture Collaboration: Support backend solution design, emphasizing performance, scalability, and security.
4. Team Leadership: Mentor junior developers, enforce coding standards, and resolve complex technical issues.
5. Backend Development: Develop and maintain Node.js backend services for performance and reliability.
6. Performance Optimization: Proactively improve codebase scalability and reduce latency.
7. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with frontend, QA, and DevOps teams for seamless integration.
8. Code Quality & Standards: Maintain high coding standards and documentation practices.
9. Technical Evaluation & Testing: Own testing coverage and bug tracking for reliable code quality.
10. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on backend technologies to enhance productivity and quality.
11. Technical Skills Required: Proficient in Node.js, Express.js, SQL databases, RESTful APIs, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD.
12. Preferred Skills: Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), microservices, messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and testing frameworks (Mocha, Chai).

Mandatory Skills:

Backend (NodeJS & Express)

Strong knowledge of microservices and their components.

Proficiency in security, authentication, and authorization, including Keycloak and a solid understanding of RBAC (Role-Based Access Control).

Experience with distributed tracing and centralized logging.

Knowledge of Elasticsearch.

Good knowledge with GIS tools.

Experience with video and audio streaming, as well as handling large file uploads.
