Hiring Business Analyst at Howden Insurance

Job Objectives/Purpose :

To join as the member of EB Analytics Team with reporting to National Employee Benefit Head in Mumbai Region of Howden India.

1. Work with the team consisting of Customer Facing Front End, Claim and Back End operations Team
2. To achieve Process orientation,
3. Fulfill KRAs and achieve superior Customer retention ratios & efficiencies in a rapidly developing, changing and highly competitive environment.
4. In this role the individual will be required to have a good People skills and Execution skills with knowledge of General & Life Insurance and Products.
5. The individual in this role will work in close coordination with CRIS & Business Development Team

Position / Business Accountabiliy

The below describes the most important duties of the position.

1. Responsible for wholesome review, Interpret, analysis of collected data using MS Excel and statistical techniques to provide accurate & reliable reports to the company and its clients.
2. To maintain database, develop healthy data collection systems & sound strategies for getting quality data from different sources to use it to right place efficiently.
3. Preparing presentations, conducting research and maintaining quality of database systems.
4. For preparing various statistical reports specific to client requirement and operational performance on monthly/ quarterly and annual basis.
5. Perform other related duties as assigned by different departments of the company.
6. Maximize client satisfactions by ensuring that the client retention strategies are executed to providing quality
7. Ensure that regular client interaction schedule is set up and implemented
8. Collaborate with Operations Team to organize knowledge transfer of analytics
9. Ensure operations comply with HBG / Howden India policy, strategy and direction
10. Support the group/company's vision of leveraging technologies to enhance operational/business efficiency
11. Ensure timely submission of report (Trend, Benchmark, Utilisation, Impact anlysis reports) with atleast 95% accuracy for retention business as well as new prospect.
12. Add value to existing reports by creating new formats/ chart etc.
13. Data capture of plan design and claims for all clients
14. To perform Quality check of the reports prepared by Team Members
15. Provide training on reading & understanding data received from TPA for preparing working file of analysis.

• 7- 10 years Analytics/ MIS in Insurance Sector
• Knowledge of General Insurance products Health Insurance and Employee Benefits shall be beneficial
• Good communication skills
• Strong Knowledge of MS Word & MS Excel
• Any University degree
