Cloud & Data Analytics Lead (Strategic Solutions & Executive Communication)
Job Summary
Synechron is seeking an experienced Cloud & Data Analytics Lead to drive the design and delivery of cloud-based architectures and data analytics solutions. This strategic role is vital to translating complex business requirements into effective technical strategies that support organizational growth and innovation. The successful candidate will collaborate with diverse stakeholders, prepare executive-level presentations, and provide technical leadership across projects, ultimately enabling Synechron to stay at the forefront of industry trends and best practices.
Software Requirements
- Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP (required)
- Experience with data management, data warehousing, and analytics tools (required)
- Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools preferred
- Experience with enterprise architecture tools and frameworks preferred
- Knowledge of security, compliance, and governance standards in cloud environments preferred
Overall Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into comprehensive technical solutions
- Lead the development of cloud architectures and data analytics solutions aligned with strategic objectives
- Develop and present CIO decks, executive summaries, and technical reports to communicate solutions and project updates effectively to non-technical audiences
- Stay informed on the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in cloud, data management, and analytics
- Support project planning, architecture design, and implementation, ensuring solutions are aligned with organizational goals
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members and project teams
- Evaluate new tools, platforms, and emerging technologies to enhance enterprise capabilities and innovation
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure cohesive execution and knowledge sharing
- Assist in risk assessment, security, compliance, and governance related to enterprise cloud and data solutions
Technical Skills (By Category)
Programming Languages
- Required: Knowledge of scripting or programming languages relevant to cloud automation, such as Python or PowerShell preferred
Databases/Data Management
- Extensive experience with data warehousing, data lakes, and large-scale data analytics platforms required
- Familiarity with SQL-based and NoSQL data sources preferred
Cloud Technologies
- Deep understanding of cloud platform services (compute, storage, networking, security) required
- Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or GCP Cloud Engineer preferred
Frameworks and Libraries
- Exposure to big data tools like Spark, Hadoop preferred
- Data pipeline orchestration tools (Apache Airflow, AWS Glue) preferred
Development Tools and Methodologies
- Experience with DevOps tools and practices (Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines) preferred
- Agile or Scrum project management experience required
Security Protocols
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices, identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and compliance standards preferred
Experience Requirements
- At least 6+ years in technical consulting, technical management, or related roles with significant experience in cloud and data analytics
- Proven experience designing and implementing cloud architectures at enterprise scale
- Strong record of delivering complex technical presentations to senior audiences
- Experience working cross-functionally with diverse teams and managing multiple stakeholders
Day-to-Day Activities
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to assess needs and design solutions
- Lead the development, deployment, and optimization of cloud and data analytics solutions
- Prepare comprehensive reports, technical decks, and executive summaries for senior leadership
- Conduct technical evaluations of new tools, platforms, and technologies
- Mentor team members on best practices in cloud, data management, and analytics
- Facilitate project planning, risk management, and implementation oversight
- Present complex concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and senior management
- Regularly update project stakeholders on progress, challenges, and milestone achievements
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Masters preferred
- Advanced certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect) preferred
- Proven experience leading large-scale cloud initiatives and data solutions in enterprise settings
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
