Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Creating Drawings: Preparing detailed drawings, blueprints, and schematics for mechanical components, assemblies, and systems based on sketches, notes, and specifications.
CAD Software Proficiency: Utilizing CAD software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools to create and modify 2D and 3D models.
Collaboration: Working closely with engineers, project managers, and other team members to develop and refine designs.
Ensuring Accuracy: Ensuring that all drawings and technical documentation adhere to industry standards, regulations, and project specifications.
Revising and Updating: Revising and updating existing drawings as needed based on design changes, feedback, or site conditions.
Technical Support: Providing technical support to other departments or teams involved in the project.
Maintaining Records: Maintaining organized records of all drawings and related documentation.
Bill of Materials: Preparing Bills of Materials (BOMs) for fabrication and procurement.
Clash Checks: Performing clash checks and resolving any design conflicts.
Site Visits: Conducting site visits to gather measurements and information for creating accurate drawings.
Adhering to Standards: Ensuring all work aligns with company standards and best practices.
Meeting Deadlines: Completing assigned tasks and projects within the given timeframe.
Problem-Solving: Identifying and resolving technical issues during the design and implementation process.
