Job Description
Job Title: Sr / Test Automation Engineer
Experience: 5 to 8 years
Location: Hyderabad Work From office
Working Hours: 12:00pm 9.00pm IST
Education: Bachelors/ Masters degree in computer science or Software Engineering
Must have Skills: Selenium, Cucumber, CI/CD Pipelines, Test NG, Xpath Coding.
Job Description:
- Develop and maintain Automation Test strategy and Frameworks based on the Automation tools & requirements
- Experience in programming languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript is essential for writing and maintaining automated test scripts
- Good understanding of QA processes and the software development lifecycle (SDLC) including Agile and DevOps practices
- Ability to analyze complex systems and identify potential issues early in the development process
- Review, analyze and document test results and metrics with recommendations to the Leadership and required teams
- Responsible for producing the overall Test delivery plan and defining the business test deliverable milestones, test tasks and activities whilst determining whether automation tools can be utilised
- Manage a large testing capability, resources and testing process from project initiation to post implementation review and extended wellness
- Participating in preparation of Quality assessments, reports, and metrics formulating go-no go statement based on reports and metrics, test progress and defect status
- Manage and maintain automation test environments and infrastructure
- Train and mentor team members on Automation testing best practices and techniques
- Develop Test Executions Pipelines using any of the DevOps tools
- Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in automation testing
- Work with QA Engineers to identify test scenarios, data requirements, functionality, and areas of application and system level risk
Skills:
- Experience in Automation testing technologies like Selenium, UFT, APPIUM tools
- Experience in BDD -Cucumber Test Automation Framework development and implementation
- Experience in any of the programming languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript
- Experience in DevOps - Pipelines for Automation Test Executions
- Hand-on on recording, updating, executing and writing automation test tools/scripts
- Automation testing for Web, API, Mobile Technologies
- Able to integrate SQL queries into ATC and perform test data setup
- Good Exposure on BrowserStack/Jira Test Case Management tool
