Job Description
1. Analysis and design of RCC and steel structures for different industrial plants.
2. Hands on knowledge of analysis software e. g STAAD PRO, ANSYS etc.
3. Able to independently do the framing of both steel & RCC structures, apply loads on the elements of the structure , analyze the structures on the software platforms, understand the output results from the analysis of structures & design the different elements of the structure based on I. S. codal provisions.
4. Should be conversant with different IS codal provisions and be able to interpret the different provisions of IS codes e. g IS 800, IS 875, IS-1894 (IV), IS 456, IS 3370 etc.
5. Shall have very good knowledge in microsoft excel which shall enable him / her to generate automated excel sheets for design of footings, columns, beams etc. using macros (as required).
6. Should be able to give proper inputs to for drafting , check the prepared drawings w. r. t the design outputs and release the drawings for construction.
